Musikindustrin har ofta beskrivits som en av de vidrigaste och kanske det vore bättre att de sålde strumpor eller något annat utan kulturellt värde. Det är "businesss" och inget annat och det ska göras profit, pengar, och inget känns främmande för att nå det målet. Därför vill de placera in oss i fack och vi ska utan invändning ta emot det som erbjuds... Tack och lov har varken artister eler intresserade lyssnare funnits sig i detta och hur än marknaden försöker styra vår smak kommer de aldrig att lyckas helt med sitt uppsåt. Däremot har de steriliserat och utarmat utbudet för alla de som vardagligt får sig sin dos av musik utan större reflektion eller egna initiativ.
Jag har samlat ihop några låtar som handlar om musikindustrin och dess avigsidor, en skarp och talande uppgörelse mot indoktrinering och ytlighet:
